Our
story
Settow is a French duo, composed of twin brothers based in Bordeaux. These two young DJs/Producers are inspired by a diverse range of musical styles and have already performed at festivals and multiple clubs in France and abroad. Attracted to music from an early age, Settow began producing during the 2020 lockdown. They released their first track « Go Back » in March 2023, in collaboration with Coopex under the label Soave.
Calvin Harris, KREAM, Meduza, Swedish House Mafia, AVAION or even Bless You, are real sources of inspiration for their productions. They mixed at their first parties in 2019 and start producing music in 2020.
Purists and the general public find themselves in this singular universe, mixing different styles of music, remixes and mashups.
The project of these twins is well received by the public and his peers. Settow shared the decks with Bakermat, Coopex and Header.
Through their performances, the two brothers confirm their ability to move crowds and their ease behind the decks. They recently mixed at YOU-F Festival supporting Bakermat.
Timeline
2019 - First DJ Sets
During student parties, the two brothers discovered a passion for DJing.
2020 - Birth of Settow
During lockdown, unable to move the crowds, they embark on composition and musical production.
2021 - Exploration
The twins mix, produce, looking for their artistic signature.
2022 - First stage
After months, the nightlife took over in France with Settow's first appearance on stage in Marseille, in front of 4,000 people at ASSOM's event.
2022 - Show
Settow now performs in several french cities such as Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulon, Aix-en-Provence...
2022 - First Festival
The brothers performs at the YOU-F Festival alongside Bakermat, Josman, Franglish, Poupie and Volodia.
March 2023 - First release
At the end of march, Settow release their first music « Go Back » in collaboration with Coopex under the Dutch label Soave.
2023 - Production and Gigs
Settow flies away for a few months in Oceania and South Asia, giving themself time to produce music and perform abroad.
